Penzer Cottage 1 North Street,

Penzer Cottage is a classic Cornish cottage 75 yards
from Mousehole harbour. Having recently been refurbished
the cottage offers charm and space for family or friends
in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
A hard wood stable door marks the
entrance to Penzer. The entrance porch with exposed
granite walls is an ideal place for pushchairs or bikes
or for sitting and reading the newspaper. A pine latch
door leads to a shower room with electric shower, wash
hand basin and w.c. The room doubles as a utility room
with washing machine and tumble dryer.
In the fully-fitted kitchen/dining
room there is a fridge, microwave, electric cooker,
ironing board and iron together with all the necessary
kitchen equipment. All tea-towels and cleaning materials
are supplied. The dining table seats four comfortably
(2 extra chairs if required) in the open plan dining
area. This leads to the lounge which has a feature fireplace
housing a working wood burner, making it cosy during
the winter months. A colour TV is provided which has
particularly good reception for the area, along with
a DVD and CD/radio/cassette player. The side window
overlooks the decked bar-b-que/seating area in the front
courtyard.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with
pine latch doors, one double and one twin, both decorated
simply but tastefully. Beds will be made up when you
arrive and towels are available in the bathroom and
shower room. No bed linen or towels are required other
than your own beach towels. There is plenty of drawer
and hanging space, mirrors and a hairdryer.
A pine latch door from the upstairs
landing leads to a good sized bathroom with bath, wash
hand basin, w.c. and storage cupboard with emersion
heater. A side window overlooks the front courtyard.
There is outside lighting in the
front courtyard and a decked bar-b-que/seating area.
Electric storage heaters or radiators
are provided throughout the cottage for the cooler months
and additional blankets are available in the bedrooms.
The cottage is a very short distance
from the harbour where parking is available in the two
harbour car parks and along the harbour wall. A further
'large' car park is available on the approach road at
the entrance to the village.
Leaflets regarding local attractions
and 'hikers guides' will be available in the cottage
on your arrival.
At the end of a wonderful day you
can get stuck into a good book, flick through one of
the many magazines or open up the family 'games box'
as you sip your well earned glass of wine.
